Seared Tuna with Poppy Seed Crust & Balsamic Vinegar

Ingredients:

1 kg (2.2 lbs) fresh tuna, cubed

6 tbsp (90 ml) extra-virgin olive oil

20g (0.7 oz.) poppy seeds

4 tbsp (60 ml) balsamic vinegar

coarse sea salt, to taste

Instructions:

Marinate fish with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Place in refrigerator for 15 minutes. Remove tuna from marinade and encrust in poppy seeds. Pan sear or grill for 2-3 minutes on each side. Slice each cube into 4 pieces. Season with salt and additional olive oil to taste.
