Ciambella (Lemon-Flavored Pound Cake)


4 “large-sized” eggs 

6 oz. milk 

6 oz. vegetable oil 

9 oz. sugar 

1 1/2 cups of flour 

4 teaspoons baking powder 

Zest of 1 lemon 

Confectioners’ [icing] sugar for dusting


Beat eggs with sugar. 

Add milk and oil. 

Add flour and baking powder. 

Fold in lemon zest. 

Bake in a 350 degree F oven for 45 minutes or more. 


Dust with sugar before serving.
