Connie Rotella’s Becoming One

And listening to her inner voice is the philosophy that Montreal resident Rotella lives by. The longtime professional dancer, teacher, choreographer and director experienced a challenging time when her son was faced with a life-threatening illness several years back. 

This time of darkness and difficult proved pivotal for Rotella. “Life throws you curve balls that you can’t control, but it’s how you react to it that you can control.” She managed to transform the emotional turmoil into an awareness and understanding about herself and her life.

“Becoming one is about becoming more aware of who we were mean to be come and becoming more comfortable with yourself – it’s a reconnection.”It’s a concept that has gained her fans of all age groups who are inspired by her message and the fact that her book is written in a conversational tone that they can relate to. “Nothing is perfect; you have to work for it,” she says, adding that she is proud she was able to relay her message to help others. “I am glad I can personally motive reader to go ahead and live the life that they want.”
