Grilled Shrimp


4 jumbo butterfly shrimp, shelled and deveined

1 lemon

2 tbsp (30 ml) extra-virgin olive oil

coarse sea salt, to taste

pepper, to taste


Preheat grill to high heat. Grill shrimp for 5 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Remove from grill and season with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and juice from 1 lemon and set aside.


This dish is a light and simple way of preparing shrimp. Any size shrimp can be grilled for this preparation.
