Age: 30 Experience: I’ve been in the hair industry for about 10 years now and worked at many great salons downtown. Italian Roots: My mom is from Jelsi, Campobasso. My dad is from Velletri, Lazio. Where To Find Her: Coiffure Blunt, 1170 Wellington, Griffintown

Industry Icons/Mentors: Angela Lucia, owner of Coiffure Blunt, award-winning colourist, educator and also one of my besties

Hair Do: Make hair mask treatments part of your weekly routine.

Hair Don’t: Don’t skip trims.

Best Hair Tip For The Season: Keep your hair hydrated. Your hair needs all the moisture it can get in winter. Use conditioner from mid-length to the ends of your hair. Concentrate on the ends as they are the oldest and most damaged. Leave conditioner in for a few minutes and rinse it out with cool or lukewarm water to seal in the moisture.

Advice For Choosing A Hairstylist: Do your research. Internet and social media have given us the opportunity to not leave our next hair appointment up to chance.

Favourite Bridal Hair-Do: Love natural waves with a sleek half-up, half-down look and some feathery bangs framing the face.

Top Celebrity Style Pick: Marianna Hewitt – she has the most perfect outfits, the perfect hair, perfect skin, best makeup tips! I’m totally obsessed with her.

Horror Story: When I first started as a hairstylist, one of my good friends came for a trim. We usually thin out her hair just a little because she has really thick hair. We were so into our conversation I got distracted and grabbed the wrong pair of scissors. I literally chopped off her hair! I must’ve said sorry about 1,000 times. She was so cool about it; she wasn’t even mad. We still laugh about it so much and no, it never happened ever again.

Tool Of The Trade: My curling iron
