What would someone be surprised to know about you? I’m a bartender who doesn’t drink alcohol.

How will Italian culture change in Canada over the next 10 years? My hopeful side says it will flourish and continue, but that depends on our generation. No matter what, we will always cook and teach our kids the history, beauty and art of our culture.

What do you hope never changes? The homemade goods

Best thing about being Italian-Canadian: The best things are: eating well, making sauce in September, speaking Sicilian even though the language is dying (even in Sicily) and putting up the tempo for nonno in the fall!

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? Never sell yourself cheap. Be Versace.

What job would you be terrible at? Any job that involves long hours of sitting
