What would someone be surprised to know about you? I’m pursuing my short-term goal of studying architecture in Milan next semester.

What’s the best thing about being Italian-Canadian? Having the opportunity to listen to my family reminisce about their childhood in Italy and their transition to Canada.

What’s an Italian tradition you want to carry on? Eating pasta after church on Sundays with my family.

What Italian stereotype do you completely live up to? Not being able to whisper.

What movie title best describes your life? Eat Pray Love. In other words: food, faith and family. I can’t have one without the others.

Favourite Italian expression: “La presenza è potenza”—presence is power. Showing up and being available says a lot about someone’s character.
