What would someone be surprised to know about you? I’m a clean freak and I plan things in advance.

What’s the best thing about being Italian-Canadian? Being able to speak Italian and English in the same sentence

What’s an Italian tradition you want to carry on? Making stuffed olives

What Italian stereotype do you completely live up to? Eating pizza, pasta, gelato and cutlet “sangwiches”

What movie title best describes your life and why? The Sound of Music: I’m always singing and dancing, whether I’m at work, cleaning my house or with family. Cue the “Tarantella”!

Favourite Italian expression and why: I have two Italian expressions.“Salve” when I greet my fellow Italians and “Povero Cristiano” (said in a Neapolitan accent). I use this expression with my family mostly when I feel bad for a person.
